Our Family

Welcome to Generation Cedar! We are a family-run website/business with one purpose: to encourage and equip Christian families.
We are a very normal family with ups and downs, tears and laughter. Some days are wonderful, others, not so much. But we are sincerely striving to chase after God and allow Him to embody everything we do.
Kelly, a.k.a. “Word Warrior” writes for the blog, and has a passion for inspiring and encouraging women to build godly homes.
Our title, Generation Cedar, taken from Psalm 92:12, is meant to represent a new generation (after Generation X and Y)…one that is rooted in Christ for life, extending to the next generations. The Lord burdened us with a passion for Christian families when we noticed so many of them experiencing divorce, heartache and destruction.
Satan is seeking whom he may destroy, but we believe the Lord wants to raise up strong families in the face of discouraging times…families who will bring Him glory and be a part of rebuilding our Christian heritage.
Our prayer is that you will find a refuge here; we have a strong community of like-minded friends and we would love for you to join us!
Our resources include:
Ebooks for equipping the family

I noticed in Bria’s video that you wore jeans when Bria was a baby. I also noticed that Bria attended your wedding to your husband.
Was your husband the influence that caused you to stop wearing pants?

Cassandra,
Where did you get the notion that I stopped wearing pants?
