What is Feminism?

What is Feminism?

Many of you have probably seen this short clip, by a friend of mine, Jennie Chancey, providing a concise description of the nature of feminism. We would do well to examine, research, and understand its origins in order to battle its effects on our own famlies and value systems. More to come about the origin of feminism.

I saw this excellent video some time ago. Jennie really hits the nail on the head, doesn’t she?

French existentialist Simone De Beauvoir is widely recognized as the founder of modern feminism, with her publishing in 1949 of “The Second Sex”.

An interview with her from 1976 is still available online at a Marxist web site:

    http://www.marxists.org/reference/subject/ethics/de-beauvoir/1976/interview.htm

It is excellent reading into the mind of the feminist movement. If the link above is not readable due to its length, just google this phrase: “the second sex, 25 years on” (that is the title of the article).

Here is a quote, in her own words: “Before that I was convinced that equality of the sexes can only be possible once capitalism is destroyed and therefore – and it’s this “therefore” which is the fallacy – we must first fight the class struggle. It is true that equality of the sexes is impossible under capitalism.”

Feminists must destroy everything to achieve their goals. And by everything I mean families, the economy, liberty, men, women, and children alike.
