They Don’t Know

A song that I actually sang often growing up, the words ring truer than ever, the older I get. And the realization gets sweeter and sweeter that yes, it’s OK to sometimes be tired; and we have a place to go and rest, and be reinvigorated for the battle. Praise God.

By the way, my name, Kelly, means “warrior”.

I used to sing this song in church when I was a young girl! My little girl often chooses her Twila Paris CD to listen to as she falls asleep at night. Thank you for reminding me of the comforting words of this song.

I havn’t heard or sang this song in years and I don’t think I have ever even thought of the words as an adult. How childlike I feel sometimes…so weak and frail. But, I have a place to run!! HALLALUJAH!!! Into my loving Father’s arms.
I need to sing this more and pass on the feelings I have about it to my children.
    Thank you!! Thank you!!

I love that song. Every now and then I will find it and play it around the house. Thanks!
