My Favorite Time of the Day

Daja, at In Other Words wrote a warm, inspiring bit on her blog, My Favorite Time of the Day, that I thought I’d share…here’s an excerpt:

“I especially love it when my kids wake up. They come into the living room or kitchen all sleepy-eyed and warm. They hug me and say, “Morning, Mommy. What’s for breakfast?” even though they know full-well, if it’s a weekday, the answer is oatmeal.

Even more, I love worship time when the kids and I dance around the living room and “shout it out” to God. Then we find a place to lay down, close our eyes and “soak.” (Which basically means we put on a quiet worship song and take time to listen to the Lord.)
