What an amazing post, both today and yesterday! You said what I have been thinking. God has really been pressing on my heart what my family should be, and areas that need work. I am looking forward to this very much!

I hope you continue to be blessed

Christina--thanks for the link (and the tips!) We have a lot of "square foot gardening" and chicken coops going up around here...it's on our to-do list too ;-) More about that in the series.

I've visited your blog several times, but have never commented. I've enjoyed (and agreed with) what you have to say and am looking forward to your little series coming up!

This is precisely why we named our family business, "Seargeant Family Enterprises." We are working together as a family, which most customers love, to serve others and provide for our family.

And, this is an outcropping of taking your thoughts into every day life. We all work together in daily household life as well.

Great thoughts.

I'm really looking forward to this, Kelley!

My husband and I were just talking recently how having a large family has made us more self reliant. Thanks to Google, we've saved ourselves several hundred $$ this month in car repairs. There is so much information out there to help us! We bought the parts, followed the step by step directions I found online and the check engine light is now off...lol. We had to do this twice this month for two separate issues.

Oh and I have to share this one...we needed new wallpaper in our kitchen and I got three rolls of some nice stuff at a garage sale for $1! THEN...we decided ceiling fans in our kitchen and living room would be nice. So we hit the yard sale circuit and the first house we came to had two matching fans, with remotes for $5...for both!! God makes me laugh sometimes. He's so amazing.

Have you heard of the Victory Egg Garden? http://www.daysofoldherbfarm.com/chicken-coops.htm We saw this at a homeschool convention and fell in love with the idea. The plans were a little expensive for us though, so we're going to wait. But we're excited about it!
