Enjoy the Music!

We love music…this song makes me want to dance, which I strongly considered merely for the purpose of inducing my labor. I refrained. Hope you enjoy.

    Dance Kelly Dance!
Or at least sway your head and raise your arms into the air and move to the melody. Tap your toe and bounce your foot.

You and me both…is it wrong to cry?

  10. Lucy T says:

Kelly, please don’t cry I don’t know anyone who stayed pregnant forever and we have a lot of day left.Lay around and enjoy those sweet movements only a a pregnant mommy can feel.I miss that.

Thanks for sharing that song with us. I enjoyed hearing it.
I had to laugh at your comment about thinking of dancing to try to induce labor. When I was pregnant with my 4th (the only one who went 2 days overdue), I was trying to get the ball rolling and actually rode a wave runner at my mom and dad’s lake place the weekend before she was due. (I’d heard people used to try driving on bumpy roads, so I figured why not.) Just for the record, it did nothing to induce labor but was fun anyway. (She came in God’s perfect timing almost a week after that. God was so sweet and patient with me. Her labor and delivery was the quickest – 20 min. after arrival at the hospital – and the easiest out of all 4 children.)

    Kelly,
What a wonderful song! It makes me feel all happy inside!
I know you must be ready to hold this new little one in your arms (And not your belly)! I pray God will give you comfort as you wait the arrival of this little one.
In God’s time you will be holding this little one and then watching him or her grow into an adult and you will miss this time that will then seem so short.
I hope you find some comfort. And if all else fails…Call your midwife and see if she has any ideas to get the ball rolling!

    Hope you find comfort,
    Tawny
