Don’t Buy Stuff You Can’t Afford

Credit has done a great deal of damage to people on an individual level and now on a global level. We are a people accustomed to buying what we want, regardless of whether we really have the money for it. I heard an elderly gentleman remark once that this type of thinking was scandalous in his generation.

This video humorously sums up how such a simple concept has eluded us.

    What a concept! And that clip is only 3 years old!! I think something that ought to go along with it…if you know you can’t afford it, quit spending time thinking and looking for it…torture!! Focus on what you have and be thankful…if I could only get my husband to see it this way, lol.

    Eagerly awaiting baby pictures also :)

  6. My husband were just talking about how America has gotten itself in the state it is in this morning and this video pretty much sums up what we were saying! People buy with their eyes rather than their cash. thanks for the video to go with the thought :0)

    Bless your heart, Kelly. I remember Justin was 2 weeks overdue when I had him. I was miserable and huge! I will just have to make an excuse to visit my mom soon after your baby is born…. :-)

    I ahve loved that clip ever since I first saw it. Soooo funny! But the sad thing is, there really are people who are that clueless. I know some of them. :(
