I’m Not Running A Cyber Sale…
Seems I got all geared up and ran a big sale for Black Friday when in reality, that was Target’s day and I should have waited for “Cyber Monday”. (I’m just slightly behind in the cyber-linguistic community.)
“The term Cyber Monday refers to the Monday immediately following Black Friday, the ceremonial kick-off of the holiday online shopping season.”
See they make up fancy words for different days so the consumer feels obligated to participate. It’s consumer peer pressure and it’s actually quite effective.
But not only does it create consumer peer pressure, it creates merchant pressure as well. Because if I’m the only one not running a “cyber sale”, then, well, you know, I’m the only one not running a cyber-sale.
So not being one easily swayed by the peer pressure around me (cough, cough, cough) I’m officially not running a Cyber Monday Sale….(crickets chirping)
I’m not giving in to this pressure to conform. No way, no how.
I’m running a “Say Goodbye to November Sale”.
Everything is 20% off today!!!!! (trumpets sounding, bands marching…)
(I’ve also adjusted the shipping rates that seemed to have been calculating a little too high previously.)
ENTER COUPON CODE: TAKE20
Nope, I’M not a conformist. No sirree.

hehehe
Apparently they also repeat themselves…
umm, sorry for the duplicate comment. I’d delete it if I could figure out how. (So much for great minds, eh?)
