Friday Favorites: A to Z…Memorizing God’s Word (Give Away!)
A week or so ago I received the CD, God’s Word from A to Z, in the mail. Written, performed and recorded by talented husband and wife team, Abe and Liza Philip, the CD has a memory verse for each letter of the alphabet put to a variety of fun and beautiful songs.
Many of you know my passion for memorizing Scripture as that passion turned into our own project of recording a Scripture Songs CD for that purpose. So I was delighted to see this wonderful project by the Philips, born out of their desire as well to plant the Word of God in the hearts of children.
The short verses and repetition make it particularly fun and easy for little ones to memorize. The talent and variety woven through the songs makes it a CD you could leave playing all day! All my littles like to hover around as we play it and beg me to “play it again!”
A to Z is highly recommended by this mom!
The Philips have graciously offered to give away one of these CDs to a Generation Cedar reader! I would love to win this cd. My son attends the Awana program and it has been great in regards to learning God’s word!
