Moore Family Films: Encouraging Families in an Anti-Family Culture

(Read on, there’s  a giveaway!)

The second in a series, Moore Family Films brings you the beautifully-done,  “It is Your Life: The Moody Family”. In this intimate portrayal of the Moody Family, this documentary does an impressive job of highlighting the foundational principles upon which strong families are built.

Join this NC family in a candid, down-to-earth  peek into their lives, highlighting some basic family values:

• Family unity
• Home education for Biblical reasons
• Grandparents’ perspectives
• Influencing the culture while protecting our children
• Trusting the Lord for the blessing of children in spite of financial and physical difficulties
•  Training sons and daughters in their God-ordained roles
•  Caring for an aging parent
•  Daily family worship

It’s a great “how-to” for families who may be new to the concept of growing family ties and placing the Lord at the center of family life.

I commend the Moore’s for once again producing a film to encourage, challenge and inspire Christian families who often have no other role models. I think you’ll find the film to be a blessing and a refreshing reminder of God’s faithfulness.

  2. Kim says:

This is a very good movie. I bought this one before Christmas and I’ve watched it several times, and I have to say it has convicted my husband and me to be better parents. Guarding our family from the world and steering them toward a relationship with the Lord.

What a blessing!!! It is very hard to find good wholesome family movies that our entire family can enjoy. With 10 children, we are always searching for a DVD that will appeal to everyone. I have just recently come across the Moore family films, and have been quite impressed! Although we have never seen one, we would absolutely LOVE the chance to win this movie!!! Thank you for the gift of blessing someone else with this giveaway!

While I have heard great things about their movies, sadly we’ve never had the money to purchase any. I tried a few libraries around us & they don’t carry them. After checking out their website and reading everything I’m seriously brainstorming what to sell of all the “things” we have lying around! LOL. Seriously though…the message and the benefits the whole family would get from watching…totally worth it. Thanks for posting about this!

I wasn’t aware of the “renting” – THANK YOU for letting me know! And I most certainly did sign up for the newsletters.

I also talked to one of the groups of stay-at-home mom’s that I know to find out who else might be interested in seeing these to find out if we can pool our resources to purchase them and then share them within our group. I sent them to the website as well to check them out…so hopefully you will end up with lots & LOTS of new subscribers!!!
