Disclaimer

I am a mother and wife first and for that reason, I’ve had to create some boundaries in order to continue Generation Cedar, and I ask that you try to understand.

Comments are particularly time-consuming and for that reason, I’ve had to establish some rules about them.  I feel they are an important part of the blog and so I leave them open.  However, these are my rules:

1.  I am a Christian.  I write to encourage and challenge other Christians and I try to reflect a solidly biblical worldview.  While I welcome all readers to Generation Cedar, I do not have the time or energy to debate competing world views.  There are other blogs with that purpose, so you are free to find those if you wish to launch inflammatory arguments or insults.  Choosing not to publish comments I deem are inappropriate does not signify my “fear” or inability to give an answer.  Defending my world view isn’t the purpose of this blog and I maintain the right, as the owner, to protect its purpose.

If you share a different world view and have genuine concerns about something you’ve read here, you are free to contact me through our “contact us” page and I will be happy to explain my position to those I believe are sincere.  The comment section of this blog will not be used for such, however.

2.  I make generalizations often and it would belabor both of us to qualify everything I said to include all people in every circumstance.  For example, if I say, “Americans are entertainment-driven”, that is a generally true statement.  I have confidence most of my readers are intelligent enough to know that I don’t mean “every single American”.  So please don’t pick apart my posts and argue using exclusive examples when a generality was clearly intended.

3.  Disagreements are welcome.  Insults, vitriol, or provoking comments are not and will be deleted at my discretion.

Thank you for understanding.  I’m so glad you’re here!
